Leading signage franchise, FASTSIGNS UK, has welcomed new franchisees, Alex Horseman and his partner, Caitlin Mosler into their franchise network.

Opened in November 2025, FASTSIGNS Bristol joins a growing network of 23 signage franchise partners across the country, stretching from York to Portsmouth. Each centre provides custom signs, graphics and visual marketing solutions to a range of industries.

The new business has been opened by 24-year-old Alex Horseman and his partner, Caitlin Mosler, alongside a production expert and lead designer, who will help them grow the business.

Known for its green credentials, with over 400 parks and green spaces across Bristol, Alex and his team aim to be as sustainable as possible – starting with their new premises. The two-storey, 2,500sqft building in Dragon Court, East Bristol, is fitted with solar panels and an EV charging point, giving the team both sustainable power for production and installations. And, thanks to the range of sustain signage products FASTSIGNS has invested in for their franchise network, Alex and his team will continue their green drive into production for customers as well.

A former student of University of Bristol, and graduate in Classical and Ancient Studies, Alex brings with him an interest in business, art and history, and a talent for oil and watercolour painting. Choosing Bristol for this new venture, he, said: “Bristol has so much to offer a new business; a wealth of talent from nearby universities, a strong focus on innovation and transport links for the South West. What more could you want as a business owner? There’s really no surprise that Bristol was ranked the second best UK city to start a business in this year.”

Entrepreneurial spirit is common within Alex’s family, thanks to dad, Chris Horseman, who was once the Vice President of Game Development at United States-based video game company, Atari, in the 1980s. Now retired, the successful business owner is helping his son get the business off the ground. This, combined with the guidance of the Franchise Support Team, Business Coach, and being mentored by fellow franchisees, Andy and Chis Simpson from FASTSIGNS Leeds, Alex and Caitlin are off to a string start, following their in-depth training at the end of last year.

Alex, said, “I’m excited to be a part of the growing network of signage specialists at FASTSIGNS UK. As someone who has a keen interest in both business development and art, I’m finding this is a rewarding first venture which combines creativity with commercial thinking. Bristol feels like the perfect place to do this, as a city that celebrates innovation, sustainability and design. We’re in tune with the city’s ethos.

John Davies, managing director at FASTSIGNS UK, said, “2025 was a landmark year for FASTSIGNS UK. We marked our 30th anniversary as a brand – a milestone shared by several of our franchisees, including FASTSIGNS Leeds and FASTSIGNS Crawley. While it’s been fantastic to celebrate those who’ve been with us since the very start, it’s equally as exciting to welcome new talent into the network – with Alex, Cat and their team in Bristol being a huge part of that growth.

“Bristol is a vibrant, forward-thinking location, with a strong commercial and education community at its heart, and we’re confident that this new centre will thrive by helping local organisations communicate their messages with real impact.”
