Are you considering joining the FASTSIGNS franchise family? Here’s what you can expect from our onboarding process, from contacting us through to opening your new FASTSIGNS business. 

Where did you first encounter the FASTSIGNS franchise? Perhaps you saw us online, or at an event? Or maybe you were even one of our customers at some point? Wherever it all began, we’re guessing you’re reading this blog because you decided to follow us online, emailed or called us, or filled in a form to learn more. So, what happens next?

Well, our first step is to do all we can to make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. This includes directing you to our website and prospectus and blogs like this one, so you can understand in more detail what we offer both as a business, and as a franchise. 

We appreciate choosing the right franchise is a big decision, and not one you’ll want to rush, so we’re always ready to provide you with the right information, whenever you need it, at any stage of your franchise journey. Of course, you can reach out and ask us any questions you have, at any time about all the latest developments in the FASTSIGNS network and how they might affect you as a future FASTSIGNS business owner. 

When you’re ready to discover if FASTSIGNS is the right business model for you, your first step will be to speak to Rebecca, our Executive Assistant here at FASTSIGNS UK and the first point of contact for all things franchising. She’ll be able to answer any questions you have and go through with you how a FASTSIGNS franchise works, in more detail. She’s been part of helping dozens of prospective franchisees take a deeper dive into this opportunity, so is the perfect person to help you find your feet. 

If you’re happy to take things further, Rebecca will arrange a call between you and our UK Managing Director, John Davies, who will give you more in-depth information and go into the financials of the business model. At no point will you be put under any pressure, or given the hard sell! John is just as interested in learning about you as you are to learn about the franchise. He’ll want to make sure your goals and ambitions align with ours, so we know if FASTSIGNS is the right fit for you. All being well, we’ll be working together for a long time, so we want to be certain we’re a good match for each other. 

We’ll then invite you to join us for a Discovery Day: a visit to our central support office to meet with John in person. You’ll then have the opportunity to ask more in-depth questions about your future with us and get stuck into all the important information we can’t share over just a phone call and most importantly meet some of the other members of the support team. 

After this comes one of the most important stages of all and one where you will very much be in the driving seat: due diligence. This is the point, we offer you the opportunity to visit a number of our centres. Whilst Rebecca will assist you in setting up meetings, you’ll attend these centre visits by yourself, so you have a chance to see how a centre works and ask our franchisees anything about their business and journey to franchising success. Following your centre visits, we encourage you to take the time you need to mull over everything you’ve learnt and make sure the FASTSIGNS franchise is everything you are looking for. 

You might even want to consider getting some independent financial and legal advice at this stage and you’re very welcome to ask to visit another FASTSIGNS centre without us. 

If there’s anything at all you need at this stage, just ask. We’re very proud of everything we’ve achieved and have nothing to hide – quite the opposite! We want you to see and learn as much as possible about us! 

Then, it all comes down to your decision. If you go ahead and sign a franchise agreement with us, you could be looking at a date to start your training before you know it and we can start talking about everything you need to get your new business up and running, including helping you find and equip a new site.
