A perfect example of this is our recent partnership with TaxAssist Accountants, an accounting franchise with over 230 shops across the UK. When rebranding their UK network, TaxAssist Accountants required help creating a tailored and project-managed signage service that their franchisees could use when updating the signage at their individual locations. To date, FASTSIGNS have helped almost 20% of TaxAssist Accountants’ network to develop their signage in line with franchisor brand standards, with many more in the pipeline.

While this is a national project that is managed centrally at our Support Office, the signage work for each TaxAssist Accountants project is carried out by our local FASTSIGNS centres.

Local FASTSIGNS Franchisee Implementation
To understand the scope of the TaxAssist Accountants’ project, our support team worked with one of our franchisees to create a ‘blueprint’ for signage options that could help TaxAssist Accountants achieve its rebranding goals. Our signage professional visited a typical TaxAssist Accountants’ office and conducted a thorough site survey. The results of which allowed us to provide a range of samples and costed mock-ups, based on their brand guidelines, to create clear and effective signage options.

This helped the TaxAssist Accountants team understand the cost implications of their rebranding project for their franchisees, as well as provided a standard signage design for all of FASTSIGNS centres to work from. The FASTSIGNS support team attended the TaxAssist Accountants rebranding launch, so they could speak to their franchisees directly, answering any questions and inviting them to use any of the FASTSIGNS services.

National success
We must have made a great impression, because enquiries rolled in rapidly. Each time TaxAssist Accountants’ central marketing team notifies us of an office that is ready to have its signage developed, we pair them with the nearest local FASTSIGNS franchisee. Our UK support team works with TaxAssist Accountants’ central team to arrange an initial site visit, where our centre team takes measurements and creates an estimate for TaxAssist Accountants to approve. Once we’ve received the ‘go-ahead’ from the TaxAssist Accountants central team, our centre moves through the manufacturing and installation process.

This project is set to continue until March 2026 and has allowed our franchisees to benefit from ready-to-go work. Another benefit of the National Accounts programme for our franchisees and their teams is helping them to create connections with their local business community. An opportunity which is essential for any business owner, as it can lead to repeat business or referrals.
